The vineyards date from the end of the 18th century

This appellation is located at the foot of the hills, on steep slopes permitting excellent drainage, and getting maximum sun from their southern exposure.

The soil is clay and limestone, or clay and sand to the east.

Loupiac wines are fine, delicate, voluptuous and mellow, fruity and generous, all qualities which will increase with ageing.
